Dr. Paivi Samant

Dr. Paivi Samant, graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Helsinki, Finland in 1987. She earned her DDS degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis in 2001 and subsequently specialized in Prosthodontics. Prosthodontics is one of the nine dental specialities recognized by the American Dental Association.

In addition to her intense dental training, Dr. Samant had 3 years of training in cosmetic dentistry and complex dental care management which involves multiple specialties including complete and partial dentures, dental implants, jaw, joint solutions and replacement of lost teeth. Before establishing her private practice in Gainesville, FL, Dr. Samant served as an assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. She has been awarded for her research presentations in the field of dental biofilm chemistry.

Dr. Samant is a member of the American College of Posthodontics, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association.
